Sell Out: A Discussion On The Hidden Secret To Writing (review)

I hadn’t heard of this one until very recently, probably because it’s not one of Dekker’s actual novels. It was only thirteen pages, but as usual, Ted’s ideas were clear, and his prose flowed with ease. His heart was on full display.

However, Sell Out: A Discussion On The Hidden Secret To Writing (a companion to
his Creative Way style of teaching,) isn’t one I can rate or easily recommend, especially to the uninitiated, or persons not of faith. Yet, if you’re patient, and are relatively broad-minded, even if you aren’t necessarily spiritual or religious, I think you’ll grasp the basic concepts here, which are quite radical.

They might just revolutionize the way you think about writing, the craft, and life in general. Why? Because “Life is Story.”
